Connect your Microsoft Azure active directory to Nibol
Find out how to integrate your Azure active directory with our service and automate the insertion of your business users in Nibol.
Follow the steps to connect your Microsoft Azure active directory to Nibol
Open business.nibol.co > from our web app, then click on Integrations in the left sidebar.
Log in through Microsoft Azure
Be careful, to proceed with the installation of the integration, you must have an administrator account in Microsoft Azure
Once here, you will have the opportunity to consult all the current integrations with Nibol.
Now click on 'Install' under the Microsoft Azure logo (see screenshot below).
Map your members in Nibol
Once logged in, Nibol will give you the option to assign Nibol roles (Employee or Administrator) through your Azure directory. In particular, you will now have the opportunity to associate a unique value in Nibol that allows users present in Azure to obtain administrator login credentials. To do this, enter a value inside the marked box (see screenshot below)
Once this is done, all members with the value JobTitle="Manager” (in this case, use a wording of your choice) will have access to the Administrator platform.
If you haven't done it before, then log in to the Azure platform and enter the same wording in the “JobTitle” field (in this case, freely choose a field of your choice from the drop-down menu of our platform) from within the individual user profile.
In this case, for example, enter the word Manager in the reference field in Azure (see screenshot below).
Synchronize your directory
Done! From now on, your Nibol directory is integrated with that of Microsoft Azure. This means that when a new member is added to Azure, it will be automatically added to Nibol.
And you won't even have to worry about informing the new member about his addition. We'll take care of sending a welcome email to your employee!
If you want to force a new synchronization with your Azure directory, use the 'Synchronize' button (see screenshot below).
What happens when you delete a user in your Active Directory
If there is a manual cancellation or dictated by a missed sync with Active Directory, the users involved will not immediately lose all bookings made in the future. In fact, these will be saved for 24 hours, time to restore a missed sync for example.
On the other hand, in case the user's deletion was intentional, know that you can always cancel any future reservations as an administrator. You can find the guide on this matter here.
